Kenneth E. Richter named chief clinical officer at Pyramid Healthcare

Behavioral healthcare provider Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. has appointed Kenneth E. Richter, Jr., as its Chief Clinical Officer (CCO). Richter brings extensive experience to the role, having served previously as director for Mental Health Policy and Oversight at the Department of Defense (DoD), where he oversaw operations within a $53 billion military health system.

In his previous position, Richter chaired committees addressing critical issues such as addictive substance misuse and national suicide prevention strategy. As CCO of Pyramid Healthcare, he will lead clinical strategy and advocate for mental health initiatives.

Richter is recognized internationally and has received numerous military honors including the Defense Superior Service Medal and Purple Heart Medal. He completed his medical training at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

Founded in 1999, Pyramid Healthcare operates over 80 facilities across several states including Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
