State Treasurer Elizabeth Maher Muoio will conduct a press briefing with senior Treasury and Administration officials on February 24, 2025. This event precedes Governor Murphy's Budget Address scheduled for the following day.
The briefing is restricted to credentialed media members. The Treasurer will provide statements on the record, while other officials will offer information on background.
A second briefing will occur on February 25, 2025, at 11:15 a.m., where Treasury staff will address additional questions. Both briefings are set in the first-floor media room of the New Jersey State House in Trenton. Cameras are not allowed.
Media personnel wishing to attend must RSVP to Danielle Currie, Deputy Director of Communications for the Department of the Treasury, by February 21, 2025.
The Budget in Brief document will be accessible during Tuesday’s follow-up session and online after the Governor's address begins. All related materials and discussions are embargoed until Governor Murphy's speech starts at 3:00 p.m. on February 25, 2025.
