Michele Siekerka named among top business leaders in New Jersey

NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka has been recognized as one of New Jersey's influential business leaders, being named to the NJBIZ 2025 Power 100 List. This list, compiled by NJBIZ magazine editors, highlights key figures in the state's business community.

Gail Friedberg Rottenstrich, a member of the NJBIA Board of Trustees and co-founder of ZAGO Manufacturing in Newark, was also acknowledged on the list, securing the No. 7 position. Additionally, NJIT President Teik C. Lim, another member of the NJBIA Board of Trustees, was honored.

According to NJBIZ, those selected for the Power 100 List "represent the best the state has to offer." The publication praised them as "talented and intelligent professionals," who are skilled strategists and leaders reflecting New Jersey's diverse landscape.

NJBIZ highlighted Siekerka's active role in 2024 as she marked her decade-long leadership at NJBIA. She played a significant part in opposing a controversial corporate transit fee through NJBIA’s “Do Better for Business” campaign.

The past year saw Siekerka extending a strategic partnership with the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program. Her achievements also include being appointed to the National Association of Manufacturers’ board of directors and becoming chair of the Conference of State Manufacturers Associations.
