NJBIA to host FY26 state budget address watch party and analysis

NJBIA will host an event on Tuesday at Cooper’s Riverview in Trenton, where Governor Phil Murphy's FY26 Budget Address will be live-streamed. Christopher Emigholz, Chief Government Affairs Officer, will provide his initial thoughts on the proposed budget plan.

The event is free and scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees can watch the governor’s address and engage in networking opportunities while enjoying hors d’oeuvres. Emigholz is expected to discuss the potential impacts of the spending plan on New Jersey’s business community around 4:30 p.m.

NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka, along with the NJBIA Government Affairs team, will host the event at Cooper’s Riverview located at 50 Riverview Plaza in Trenton. Interested participants are encouraged to register for the event.

Additionally, Emigholz will offer a more detailed analysis of the budget proposal during a virtual session titled “First Thoughts – State Budget Webinar.” This interactive program will take place on Wednesday, February 26, at 4 p.m. Registration for this free online event is open.
