Four New Jersey companies will be recognized for their efforts to expand export operations at the New Jersey International Trade Awards next month. The event will take place on May 13 at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth. Industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals are encouraged to attend and connect with key players in the field.
The 2025 award winners include Dock 7 Materials Inc. from Red Bank, awarded Exporter of the Year for its work in recycling agricultural, post-consumer, and post-industrial plastics. Pioneer Consulting from East Windsor, specializing in telecommunications consulting focusing on submarine fiber optic cables, has been named Service Exporter of the Year. Spectra Colors Corp. from Kearny, a supplier of dyes, has earned the title of Minority/Diverse Exporter of the Year. Finally, Alnima Natural Solutions Inc. from Jersey City, which produces Halal-certified vitamins and supplements, is recognized as the New Exporter of the Year.
Susan Widmer, director at the U.S. Department of Commerce and secretary at the New Jersey District Export Council, expressed pride in the awarded exporters. She highlighted the opportunity for attendees to learn from the shared experiences and strategies of the winners.
Dawn Cecco, the New Jersey District Export Council Executive Committee chair, extended gratitude to judges Michele Siekerka from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association, Anthony Russo from the Commerce and Industry of New Jersey, and Chris Edwards from the Somerset County Business Partnership for their selection process.
The awards aim to honor New Jersey companies for their efforts in penetrating new markets and enhancing their presence. By doing so, these companies create jobs and contribute positively to the state's economy.
