The purpose is to support research and development projects aimed at reducing or mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
The program's objective is to assist early-stage clean tech and clean energy companies based in New Jersey. It aims to accelerate the development and innovation of clean technologies, transforming research discoveries into commercially viable technologies that attract industry and investor interest.
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria. Applications are currently open and must be submitted by Friday, July 11, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
CSIT was re-established in August 2018 when Governor Murphy signed legislation reviving the former New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology. The commission includes members from public and private sectors as well as academia. It focuses on promoting New Jersey as a hub for academic and technological research, development, and commercialization.
