Rutgers hosts business resource symposium for small business owners

Small and medium-sized business owners are invited to the Business Resource Symposium, hosted by Rutgers Business School and NJ Small Business Development Centers. The event is scheduled for Monday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Bove Auditorium on Rutgers Business School’s Newark campus.

The symposium aims to prepare businesses for future economic challenges by focusing on economic changes, talent pipelines, and global market conditions. Discussions will cover resources available through Rutgers Business School that utilize faculty expertise and student talent, new lender loan products and regulations, as well as free federal and state programs designed to assist in starting, growing, and scaling a business.

Key speakers include Tendai D. Ndoro, regional director of the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Rutgers University–Newark; Lei Lei, supply chain management expert and Dean of Rutgers Business School; Jeffrey Robinson, Interim Chancellor of Rutgers University–Newark; and Peter Connolly, CEO of NJ Manufacturing Program.

The event is free to attend but requires online registration.
