The New Jersey FFA has announced its officer team for the 2024-2025 term, following the 95th Annual State FFA Convention. The newly elected officers represent chapters from Monmouth, Warren, Cape May, and Hunterdon counties. This year, they will lead a record membership of 3,438 across 37 chapters statewide.
The officers are Niccolo Conte from Allentown FFA as President; Allison Josielewski from Allentown FFA as Vice President; Abrianna Portillo from Phillipsburg FFA as Treasurer; Tyler Murnaghan from Cape May Tech FFA as Secretary; Nina Weiland from Hunterdon County ESEA FFA as Reporter; and William Rutherford from Cape May Tech FFA as Sentinel.
Erin Noble, New Jersey State FFA Advisor and Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Education Program Leader, commented on the new leadership: “We have a committed and enthusiastic group of officers who are prepared to lead a membership that continues to grow. They understand the responsibilities that come with these positions and the importance of their roles as leaders as they set the example for FFA chapters in our state.”
FFA is part of an educational program focused on food, agriculture, and natural resources. It aims to prepare students for careers in various sectors such as business, science, education, and technology related to agriculture. Nationwide membership is nearly 950,000.
