NJPP strengthens leadership with new directors for research and communications

As New Jersey navigates important policy decisions in healthcare, housing, and economic equity, the New Jersey Policy Perspective (NJPP) is enhancing its leadership team. The organization has announced two key appointments: Dr. Brittany Holom-Trundy as Research Director and Kelli Parker as Director of Communications.

Dr. Brittany L. Holom-Trundy has been promoted to Director of Research in recognition of her significant contributions since joining NJPP in 2020. Her research focuses on healthcare system reform and socioeconomic equity, which has informed state-level policy discussions. She holds a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University and has taught there and at The College of New Jersey.

Kelli Parker joins NJPP as Director of Communications with over two decades of experience in journalism and advocacy. A Pulitzer Prize finalist, she has worked with The Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News, Houston Chronicle, and The Denver Post. Most recently, she led communications at South Carolina’s Women’s Rights & Empowerment Network (WREN).

“At a time when evidence-based policy research is more crucial than ever, Brittany and Kelli represent the expertise and vision NJPP needs to drive meaningful change in New Jersey,” said Nicole Rodriguez, President of NJPP. “Their combined skills will significantly strengthen our capacity to influence policy outcomes.”
