On April 7, 2022, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform (ILR) released an update concerning third-party litigation funding around the world. The update highlighted several trends and developments in this area.
One of the developments noted by ILR was the adoption of a third-party litigation funding rule by the District of New Jersey. The New Jersey Civil Justice Institute (NJCJI) played a role in advocating for this rule during the previous year.
