Eminent domain seminar explains property owner rights under New Jersey law

What do a Cranbury farm, a Toms River church, and a Seaside Park motel have in common? Each has faced legal disputes over eminent domain initiated by their local governments seeking to acquire privately owned land for public use.

An online seminar titled "Eminent Domain: Is it REALLY Your Property" addresses these issues. Attorney Brian Keatts, a partner at the Freehold law firm Davison Eastman Muñoz Paone, P.A., discusses New Jersey’s 1971 Eminent Domain Act. He explains the process of eminent domain in New Jersey and outlines the rights that property owners have during such proceedings.

The seminar is available for viewing online.
