PlastechFree founders advocate plant-based alternatives in latest Planet NJ episode

In this episode of "Planet NJ," Gene Benfatti and Mark Nathan of PlastechFree discuss their plant-based alternatives to everyday plastic products.

"Gene and I have been working on these solutions for years," said Mark Nathan. "We believe that reducing plastic waste is crucial for the environment."

Benfatti added, "Our goal is to provide sustainable options that can replace conventional plastics without compromising quality or usability."

The duo emphasizes the importance of adopting compostable materials to mitigate environmental impact. Their company, PlastechFree, focuses on creating products that decompose naturally, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastics.

"We want to make it easy for people to make environmentally conscious choices," Nathan explained. "Our products are designed to be both practical and sustainable."

Benfatti concurred, noting the significance of public awareness in driving change. "Education is key. The more people understand the benefits of compostable materials, the more likely they are to use them."

PlastechFree's initiative represents a growing movement towards sustainability in product manufacturing. By prioritizing plant-based materials, Benfatti and Nathan aim to contribute significantly to environmental conservation efforts.
