Conference explores AI's role in hiring neurodivergent talent

The NeuroX New Jersey conference is set to convene a diverse group of stakeholders, including corporate and government leaders, academia, investors, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists. The focus will be on exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance opportunities for neurodivergent individuals in the workplace.

Scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, at the Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in New Brunswick, the event titled "Neurodiversity in the Workplace Meets AI" will run from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Neurodiversity encompasses cognitive variations such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and twice exceptional individuals who possess unique intellectual strengths. Drew Peloso, the founder of the conference, noted that these talents are often underutilized in business settings despite their potential for creative problem-solving and innovation.

The conference will feature panel discussions and fireside chats with business executives, state government leaders, and other stakeholders. Topics will include strategies to:

- Source, recruit, and integrate neurodivergent talent

- Leverage AI to improve workplace inclusion and efficiency

- Build a neuroinclusive culture that enhances creativity and productivity

Speakers will include experts from companies like NVIDIA and Microsoft, representatives from the Autism Society of America, as well as officials from various state departments such as the Department of Labor & Workforce Development and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

Mike Renna, president & CEO of South Jersey Industries and an NJBIA board member, is among the private sector executives participating in the event.

Early-bird registration pricing is available until October 4. Additional information about sponsorship opportunities can be found on the NeuroX New Jersey website.
