Conference to unite businesses with nonprofits focusing on AI innovations

The 44th Annual AFP-NJ Conference on Philanthropy is set to bring together over 300 nonprofit executives and business leaders next month. The focus will be on utilizing AI technology, data analytics, and leadership strategies to drive innovation in the field of philanthropy.

Scheduled for November 14 at the Bridgewater Marriott, the event organized by the New Jersey chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP-NJ) will include programs, networking opportunities, exhibitors, and optional executive coaching sessions.

Keynote speakers are expected to address a range of topics. Martin L. Novom, founder of the Alexis de Tocqueville Institute, will provide insights into the future of philanthropy. Rob Mitchell, a nonprofit adviser and former chief development officer for the American Cancer Society, will discuss strategic leadership and data-driven approaches. Stacey Wedding from Professionals in Philanthropy will talk about leadership through human connection.

Participants can also engage in roundtable discussions and interactive workshops designed to equip nonprofit and business leaders with strategies for AI-driven fundraising, donor retention, and leadership development.

The conference aims to facilitate connections between business leaders and nonprofits addressing critical issues in New Jersey. These interactions are intended to foster partnerships that promote both economic development and community impact.
