Rider University has donated 128 Thanksgiving meals to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding those in need within the Trenton area.
In addition to this donation, Rider University conducts an annual Thanksgiving basket drive aimed at supporting local families. The university also holds a campus-wide Thanksgiving luncheon as part of its celebrations. During this event, the Rider women’s basketball team contributed by volunteering as servers.
The ticket proceeds and donations collected from the luncheon were directed towards Rider’s on-campus pantry. This facility provides food, personal care items, and school supplies for students requiring assistance.
