Matthew Rivera receives 2024 ACHE Regent Student Associate Award

The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) has awarded Matthew Rivera, a Master of Health Administration student from Bloustein, the 2024 ACHE Regent Student Associate Award. This accolade is part of ACHE's efforts to honor healthcare leaders who have significantly contributed to their communities through leadership and dedication to improving patient outcomes.

Matthew Rivera has been recognized for his leadership roles and commitment to assisting others in their professional development. His involvement includes participation as a Program Assistant at the ACHE 2024 Congress in Chicago, which he attended at his own expense. Additionally, he is an active member of the ACHE-NJ Membership Committee.

Rivera holds several leadership positions within academic organizations. He serves as the Academic Chair for the Graduate Society of Healthcare Leaders (Rutgers GSHL) and as Vice President for Health Administration at the Bloustein Graduate Student Association (BGSA). Notably, he is the first student associate appointed to serve on the newly expanded Board of Directors of ACHE-NJ.
