NJBIA honors over 30 entities at annual holiday celebration

More than 30 businesses, labor groups, schools, and executives were recognized at the NJBIA's 2024 Holiday Membership & Awards Celebration held at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank. The event showcased a video featuring all awardees.

The Manufacturing Award was presented to several companies representing a range of business sizes across the state. These companies are noted for their diverse quality products that impact millions globally. The honorees included Acme Rubber Stamp Works, Church & Dwight, Clayton Companies, GAF, L’Oreal, Mannington Mills, and PIM Brands.

The 5th Annual NJ Diversity Equity & Inclusion Award acknowledged entities recognizing workforce changes and advancing DEI initiatives. Recipients were Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, Ernst & Young (EY), Integris, OceanFirst Bank, RWJBarnabas Health, and Withum.

The 64th Annual New Good Neighbor Award celebrated projects with significant economic development impacts through new or renovated facilities and community redevelopment efforts. Honored projects included AllShifts for successful health outcomes and Blanquita B. Valenti Community School for education advancements.

Other notable awards included D’Boathaus for farm-to-table experiences and Everside Health for affordable medical care improvements. Manasquan Bank was recognized for enhancing client experience while New Beginnings contributed to Fair Lawn's facelift.

The Awards for Excellence highlighted contributions improving life quality in New Jersey. ELEC 825 Engineers Labor-Employer Cooperative and Johnson & Johnson were named NJBIA Members of the Year alongside Nisivoccia.

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield received recognition for community service along with Shovlin Mattress Factory. Hudson Community Enterprises was honored for excellence in disability inclusion.

Executives of the Year titles went to Virgilio Caraballo from Rehabilitation Specialists and Chris Krasas from Carl Stahl Sava Industries. Outstanding Employers included Kolari Vision and Commvault.
