NJBIA's "Minding Your Business," a television show airing on News 12+, continues to highlight business issues and member enterprises. The program, hosted by Bob Considine, has earned seven Telly Awards over the past three years, including a gold award in 2024 for the Interview & Talk Show category. It is broadcast on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., as well as Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
A notable episode from 2024 featured Gerri Budd and Donnalynn Scillieri, founders of Peace in Action Professors. They discussed their startup's efforts since its inception in 2021 to help businesses and municipalities create more inclusive and mentally healthier environments through empathy and understanding.
The episode also included an expert panel discussion from NJBIA’s DEI Summit. The panel addressed how employers can meet the diverse needs and leverage the strengths of their workforce. Participants were Krishna Powell from HR 4 Your Small Biz, Alwyn Dias from Crothers Consulting, Amy Flynn from Insperity, Oscar Tobacia from Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, with Jackie Lue Raia from ALEXENA Consulting serving as moderator.
