The Legacy Foundation will honor Mercadien, a longtime member of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), at its annual "Monte Carlo Night" fundraiser on March 22. The event supports behavioral health and substance abuse services for residents across New Jersey.
Legacy Treatment Services, with over 70 programs throughout the state, serves more than 20,000 people annually. Its comprehensive services include prevention programs, crisis intervention, outpatient therapy and psychiatric services, substance abuse services, therapeutic foster care, residential programs, juvenile detention alternatives, case management, developmental disability services, and a special education school.
The Monte Carlo Night fundraiser will be held at The Merion on Route 130 in Cinnaminson. Attendees can enjoy food, live music, an open bar, silent auctions and games such as Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Money Wheel. At the event's conclusion, guests can convert their chips into raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes.
Mercadien is recognized for its significant community support in New Jersey. The Mercer County-based firm provides accounting, tax services and consulting.
Mark Hatoff from Legacy Treatment Services stated that their programs aim to transform behavioral health and social service outcomes "from surviving to thriving." A recipient of Legacy Treatment Services will speak at the fundraiser.
Hatoff described Monte Carlo Night as a valuable networking opportunity with charitable gaming and entertainment. Guests can bid on hotel packages, experiences and gift baskets during the silent auction. Additionally, there are opportunities to bid on concert tickets and exclusive dinner packages in a live auction.
