The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) will hold its inaugural Business Breakfast Summit this Friday. This quarterly event aims to educate businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies about various programs, incentives, and grants designed to lower utility costs and boost energy efficiency.
Scheduled for March 21 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., the summit will take place at Bergen County Community College in Lyndhurst. Registration is open for those interested in attending this free event.
Christine Guhl-Sadovy, NJBPU president, stated: “I’m excited to announce the launch of our quarterly Business Breakfast Summit series. By building strong partnerships, we can empower businesses and organizations to take full advantage of available programs and resources to help reduce costs and support New Jersey’s clean energy transition.”
Key speakers include Dr. Eric Feinstein, President of Bergen Community College; Zenon Christodoulou, NJBPU Commissioner; and Kyle Tafuri, Director of Sustainability at Hackensack Meridian Health.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend one of three breakout sessions focused on energy efficiency:
1. Energy Efficiency Programs for Large Businesses
2. Energy Efficiency Programs for Small Businesses
3. Energy Efficiency Programs for Nonprofits, Local Government, and Institutional Organizations
The summit also features a networking hour with breakfast and information tables from local business organizations and utilities.
This North Jersey event marks the beginning of the 2025 Quarterly Business Summit series by NJBPU. Future summits are planned for June, September, and December in Central Jersey, Southwest Jersey, and Southeast Jersey respectively.
