State of Shore Economic Summit to feature local leaders on May 29

The upcoming 2nd Annual State of the Shore Economic Development Summit is scheduled for May 29. The event will gather business leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from Monmouth and Ocean County to discuss economic forecasts for the Jersey Shore region.

Christopher Emigholz, Chief Government Affairs Officer at NJBIA, will be among the panelists at the summit. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune.

Additional panelists include Jason Timian from the state Department of Labor & Workforce Development, Monmouth County Commissioner Director Thomas Arnone, Ocean County Commissioner Jennifer Bacchione, and other regional workforce and chamber of commerce officials.

Eileen Chapman, director of the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University, is set to deliver the keynote address.

The summit is sponsored by several organizations including the Monmouth County Employer Legislative Committee (ELC), the Monmouth Ocean Development Council, and Davison, Eastman, Munoz, Paone P.A., a law firm based in Freehold that has been a longtime member of NJBIA.

Registration for the event costs $55 and includes breakfast. Online registration is available.
