NJBIA has announced the addition of WGL Energy to its network, which focuses on leadership, growth, and economic prosperity in New Jersey. WGL Energy, with over 25 years in the energy sector, is a competitive retail energy supplier offering electricity, natural gas, and renewable energy solutions such as Carbon Offsets and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). The company emphasizes customer care to help clients achieve procurement goals, budget objectives, and sustainability targets. It primarily serves the Mid-Atlantic region.

WGL Energy is expanding its operations in New Jersey by initially targeting large commercial and industrial customers. The company plans to extend services to residential customers in the future. With an office located in Mt. Laurel, WGL Energy is approved to offer its diverse energy mix across major utility territories in New Jersey including PSEG, JCP&L, and Atlantic City Electric.

Michael McGinn, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at WGL Energy, expressed enthusiasm about joining NJBIA: “We are excited to join an impressive organization with a track record for tapping into what really matters to the future of New Jersey’s business and policy opportunities. Membership provides a dynamic forum for meaningful connections with business leaders, exchanging insights and contributing to discussions that shape the state’s energy landscape.”
